The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to solicit proposals from qualified vendors to accept solid waste and/or single stream recyclables from the City of Fort Walton Beach, Florida and to provide and operate a solid waste disposal and/or processing resource recovery system that encourages protection of the environment and conservation of resources, and that eliminates or reduces the necessity for long-term sanitary landfills as a primary disposal method for solid waste.
