Description: The purpose of this solicitation is to establish a contract for the transportation and disposal of
Leachate. Leachate is the liquid generated by rainfall and decomposed waste that drains through and collects at the bottom of a landfill. Laboratory analysis of the County’s leachate is available upon request. Transportation and disposal will be on a regular scheduled basis and/or as needed based on unplanned events. The origin of the leachate is Perdido Landfill (PLF), located at 13009 Beulah Rd., Cantonment FL 32533. Leachate is stored on-Site within lined in-ground holding basins with appurtenances which can provide filling of a transport vehicle. Leachate is to be disposed of at an approved State of Florida and/or Alabama disposal facility.
