Description: Sealed bids for the Fuel Farm project at the Lake City Gateway Airport will be received at the Procurement Department, City Hall, 205 N. Marion Avenue, Lake City, FL 32055 until 2:00 PM, EDT, on January 9, 2018 and there, at said office, at said time, publicly opened and read aloud. Bids CLEARLY MARKED ITB-006-2018 shall be submitted in a sealed envelope. Base Bid 1 – Fuel Farm. Project involves the removal of an existing fuel farm and installation of a new fully operational Aboveground Aviation Fuel Farm with (3) storage fuel tanks [(2) Jet-A & (1) AV-gas] and dispensing/management system including all site work at the Lake City Gateway Airport (LCQ). Bid Additive 1 – Canopies. This Bid Additive includes the installation of new fuel farm and fuel truck canopies. Prevailing wage rates and DBE participation are not applicable. Contractors must be bonded and insured to the level indicated in the Contract Documents. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price (combination of base bid or alternate bid plus add-on items) for the contract in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Preparation of Proposal. The right is reserved to waive any informalities in the bid and to reject any and all bids.
