Description:

A.      The following Specifications are for the miscellaneous repairs and repainting of handrails at the Murfreesboro Springs Boardwalk located behind the Murfreesboro Discovery Center at 502 SE Broad Street. Murfreesboro Springs Wetlands Boardwalk is a 25-acre city park under the jurisdiction of the City of Murfreesboro Parks and Recreation Department.  Walking trails and raised boardwalks wind through the wetlands, while the plaza area boasts an amphitheater and water features. The boardwalk was constructed around 2000. The work under this contract consists of furnishing and installing all materials for the painting and repairs of the boardwalk and other features as outlined below.  The work shall consist of the following major items:
