Notice is hereby given that competitive sealed bids will be accepted by City of Raton for the Whittier Street & Byron Avenue Reconstruction Project. The work shall generally consist of: Mill existing pavement surface on Byron Ave. and overlay both Byron Ave. and Whittier St. with new hot mix asphalt, install new curb and gutter and sidewalk along Whittier St., construct new concrete valley gutter and drivepads at driveways and alleys, and replace existing storm sewer culverts at Whittier St. and Colfax Ave.

Sealed bids shall be received at the office of the City Manager as follows until May 26, 2021 at 3:00 pm. Bids received after this date and time will be returned unopened. Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud immediately after the specified closing time. All interested parties are invited to attend the bid opening. Bid security in the amount of 5% of the amount bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
