Question 1

Posted: 8/11/2019

Question: 1. Is Charger Village one building or two? 2. Is the big hotel behind attached to and part of The Conference Trainig Center? 3. Is the Cramer Research Hall and UA Weather Service the same one building? 4. Does the Student Services building entail the interior cleaning of the entire floors (including lobby) or only 2nd/3rd floor offices and 3rd floor conference rooms? 5. Would the winning vendor be allowed to work after-hours and on weekends?

Response: I am checking with the department to answer these questions and will post when I have answers. The answers to your question are as follows.... 1. Is Charger Village one building or two? Charger Village is 2 buildings, but have the same name. They will be considered as 1 on the quote sheet. 2. Is the big hotel behind attached to and part of The Conference Trainig Center? No, the hotel is not connected to CTC. 3. Is the Cramer Research Hall and UA Weather Service the same one building? Yes, the National Weather Service is located inside Cramer Research Hall. The Severe Weather Institute Radar and Lightning Laboratory (SWIRLL) is a separate building located adjacent to CRH. 4. Does the Student Services building entail the interior cleaning of the entire floors (including lobby) or only 2nd/3rd floor offices and 3rd floor conference rooms? This would include exterior and interior perimeter walls. This would also include the all of the 3rd floor office spaces, and 2nd and 3rd floor conference rooms. 5. Would the winning vendor be allowed to work after-hours and on weekends? Yes, that would be acceptable with approval from Daniel. See letter F. on page 5 for the information.
