Description:

The Cherokee County Board of Commissioners Purchasing Department (County) is requesting competitive sealed Proposals from qualified firms or individuals that specialize in land use planning and design for the purpose of creating a park and trails area plan for the SW portion of the county, as further defined herein.

Pre-Bid Meeting Details: Due to safety concerns over the COVID-19 pandemic, in lieu of a mandatory pre-proposal meeting, the County is requiring all interested firms to visit the two main sites, Parcels 1 and 4. Site visits must be conducted on or before May 1, 2020. At least one (1) representative from the lead firm shall visit Parcels 1 and 4, and submit the below signed affidavit to the Procurement Department by May 1, 2020 by 4:00 PM. The affidavit shall serve as documentation that a key staff representative walked the general area of both parcels and understands the topography and any obvious constraints/restrictions as well as unique features of the properties. Representatives are encouraged to take photographs of the land for visuals.
