Description:

The Clayton County Water Authority will open sealed bids from experienced licensed general contractors on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. local time at its office located at 1600 Battle Creek Road, Morrow, Georgia 30260, for Huie Foundation Parking Lot Renovations. Any bids received after the specified time will not be considered.  Contractors must hold a General Contractors License and Utility Contractor’s License and any other license(s) required to perform the work. The Utility Contractor’s License may be held by the subcontractor who will be performing all utility work.

A Non-Mandatory pre-bid meeting followed by a non-mandatory site visit will be held at the Natural Treatment Systems Building (NTS) located at 1791 Freeman Road, Jonesboro, Georgia 30236 on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. local time.

This project will be partially funded with a grant from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (“USEPA”). CCWA encourages Disadvantaged Business Enterprises to participate and respond to this proposal request.

In an effort to promote responsible environmental practices the bid package is available in electronic (Adobe PDF) format and can be requested by calling 770-960-5223, M-F, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm or by e-mail to CCWA_Procurement@ccwa.us.  Bidders will need to provide contact information and an email address and any file size transfer limits to ensure email transmittals can be made.  A hardcopy bid package can also be requested at a cost of $25.
