Description:

The City of Aztec is requesting sealed bids for East Aztec Pump Station Improvements to include a pre-engineered metal building pump house to provide for above ground piping, pump, and electrical component installation and two VFD pumps with sensors, meters and valving.  All work shall be performed in accordance with the contract documents and in particular, the design drawings and the technical and administrative specifications for this project. The City reserves the right to select any combination of services bid.

 

The Purchasing Office with the City of Aztec, New Mexico will receive sealed bids for ITB 2020-735 until Thursday, March 12, 2020, 3:00 PM local time, 201 W Chaco, Aztec NM 87410 at which time bids will be publically opened and read aloud in the Commission Room. Bids should be addressed to:

The bids received will be considered by the City of Aztec at a regular meeting of the City Commission or at a special meeting of the City Commission as may be required. No bid will be received or considered if received by the Purchasing Office after the hour of 3:00 p.m. (local time) on March 12, 2020. Please note that the City of Aztec, NM is NOT a guaranteed delivery point for any of the various delivery services.

A non-mandatory pre-bid on-site conference will be held on Monday, February 24, 2020, 10:00 AM in Aztec, New Mexico, 87410, 1891 Navajo Dam Road.  The last day to ask questions about the project or construction documents is Wednesday, March 4, 2020, 10:00 AM. All questions must be submitted in writing to Kathy Lamb at klamb@aztecnm.gov.

This addendum extends the dates forquestions and bid due date.  It isanticipated a second addendum will be issued the second week of March 2020which will include revisions to the building foundation design.  In addition to the responses to questions received,this addendum also includes the Geotechnical Engineering Report, dated March27, 2019, prepared by Geomat Inc.  Thisreport is a separate attachment to Addendum #1.
