Question 1

Posted: 9/17/2024

Question: Can the County clarify how the scope of work described in this solicitation, ITB PS 71-24, differs from ITB PS 29-24 released in January 2024 and awarded in March 2024? The scopes seem quite similar with the most notable differences being "Provide Meals to Citizens that Utilize the Raider Arena Shelter" in ITB PS 29-24 and "Provide personnel to prepare and conduct feeding for the Northwest Florida State College Arena Shelter" in this most recent solicitation. Any additional information would be greatly appreciated.

Response: See addendum 1.

Question 2

Posted: 9/17/2024

Question: Okaloosa County issued ITB PS 29-24 "Providing Employees Meals During a Disaster Event" in January 2024 and awarded the contract in March 2024. The scope of that contract included personnel and feeding of emergency response personnel at the Emergency Operations Center at 90 College Blvd. in Niceville and field feeding requirements as well. Can the County provide clarification for whether the scope in this most recent solicitation, ITB PS 71-24, will include feeding of approximately 200 emergency response personnel at the same EOC location? Both solicitations detail feeding 200 emergency response personnel at the EOC and include field feeding requirements. Is ITB PS 71-24 intended to supplement current existing contracts?

Response: See addendum 1.

Question 3

Posted: 9/17/2024

Question: You asked for two separate formats for food preparation, on site at the EOC or "may be required to provide a refrigerated trailer/truck for food storage as well as a mobile kitchen." Those are two very different pricing models. Is there an opportunity to bid these prices separately as there is only one pricing structure offered on the ITB?

Response: See addendum 1.
