Description: The City of Beaufort, South Carolina (the “City”), is requesting proposals from financial institutions with respect to a commercial loan to be evidenced by its $875,000* tax-exempt lease purchase financing (the “Financing”) between the lessor and the City. The following key assumptions in this Request for Proposals (“RFP”) are to be utilized in preparing your proposal:
Lessee: City of Beaufort, South Carolina.
Use of Proceeds: Proceeds of the Financing will be used to (i) pay a portion of the cost of an Enforcer aerial ladder track and related equipment (the “Fire Truck”) and (ii) pay the costs of issuance. The Fire Truck is expected to be delivered on or around September 15, 2025.
Tax Treatment: Tax-Exempt.
