Description: Rio Rancho Public Schools (RRPS) is requesting competitive sealed proposals with the intent of entering into a contract with a HVAC contractor(s) for the purpose of providing various HVAC services on-demand. All potential Offerors are to read, understand and accept the requirements of this Invitation to Proposal (RFP), especial¬ly the mandatory requirements.
The Offeror is required to provide, as part of their proposal, the qualifications and other documents requested in this RFP.
The award(s) of a contract shall take into consideration certain contractor qualification and performance factors that add value to a procurement contract. Factors such as contractor past performance, technical expertise and experience, management capabilities and resources, will form the basis for the criteria to be considered, in addition to price to perform the scope of work. Award(s) shall be made in accordance with the terms conditions, and requirements stated herein.

Question: An identification of General Liability Insurance in a table (page 19) differs from the liability stated on The Statement of Qualifications Item 8.c. (page 44). The table indicates $2,000,000 The Statement of Qualifications asks for $1,000,000. My question is: are you asking for General Liability coverage of $1,000,000?

Question: The submission instructions Vol 1 item 4 (page 17) asks for a certificate of insurance (COI). The statement of qualifications 8.d. (page 44) asks for a notarized letter of declaration. My question is: will a COI showing the requested coverage serve as proof whereas no notarized letter is necessary?

Question: Attachment A (page 28) states 5 maximum projects. This form is used for references in the statement of qualifications question 3.a. and additionally in 3.c. (page 39-40) My question is: is there a maximum of 5 project references relating to 3.c. or is this to be whatever quantity of major HVAC construction work is in progress?

Question: After reading through the RFP with wording relating to wage decision rates discussed, this is a two-part verification question to confirm the fixed fee rate is not applied to the labor rate response forms. My questions are: a.) the labor rates applied to the Labor Rates Response Forms (pages 55-56) are to represent the direct values which will be charged to RRPS? and b.) the fixed fee rates are to apply to materials, non-owned rental equipment, and subcontract services?
