Clarifiers have a diameter of 100' and are 16' deep. Plant will be open for viewing from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM on March 27, 2018. Please see attachments for specifications and bid instructions.

Question: Is a SC General Contractor's license necessary to submit a bid?

Response: Per project manager, a Dorchester County business license will be needed.

Question: Based on the answer to the previous question it appears you will only accept bids from contractors located in Dorchester County?

Response: You do not have to have a county business license to submit a bid, but you would need to obtain one if you are awarded the project.

Question: We find that a Dorchester County Business License is required. Will this be required when the project is awarded or do we need to have this license already in order to submit a bid?

Response: Before work commences, a business license will need to be obtained. If you are awarded the project and do not already have a county business license, you would need to obtain one.
