PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Fire Station #4, Roof Area A (Approximately 2,045 square feet):
Prepare and provide new fluid applied coating and accessories to provide a complete, watertight,
20-year warrantable roof assembly.
Fire Station #10, Roof Area A (Approximately 2,512 square feet): Remove and dispose of the
existing roof system including flashings and sheet metal down to the existing concrete structural
deck; resecure the existing edge nailers to remain in place; install new wood nailers as specified;
torch apply vapor barrier; fully adhere base layer insulation in foam adhesive; adhere second
layer insulation in foam adhesive; adhere gypsum overlayment in foam adhesive; torch apply a
two-ply modified bitumen roof membrane and provide new sheet metal flashings; and
accessories to provide a complete, watertight, 20-year warrantable roof assembly. Roof Areas B,
C, D - (Approximately 211 square feet): Prepare/repair concrete awnings to receive fluid applied
coating; apply fluid applied coating, flashings to three concrete awnings as specified to provide a
complete, watertight, 20-year warrantable coating system.
Quarters K & L, Roof Areas QK1 and QL1: Provide all materials and labor to install new attic
ventilation fans (1 each building), accessories and flashings to provide a complete, watertight
installation.
