The mission of Calhoun County Senior Services is to enhance, promote, and ensure the availability of needed quality services for Calhoun County seniors through effective and efficient allocation of County Senior Millage resources. Calhoun County Senior Services is guided by a vision of funding choices for seniors, age 60 and over, while promoting safety, health, dignity, and independence. Core values include seniors have access to the services they need because the delivery system is well-coordinated and collaborative; seniors are valued members of our community; seniors have choices about where and how they live in our community; seniors can live independently in the community as long as possible.

Question 1

Posted: 9/19/2023

Question: Item 3.7.2 indicates that bidders will be asked to present proposal(s) on October 25 or 27; Item 4.5.5 indicates bidders should be available to present proposals on October 4 (which is before the proposals are due). Can you confirm the October 4 date is incorrect and bidders will only be presenting on October 25 & 27? Thank you.

Response: The proposals are due October 17 and the bidders will be asked to present their proposals to the SMAC RFP Review Subcommittee on October 25 & October 27. The October 4 date in section 4.5.5. was a typographical error.

Question 2

Posted: 9/19/2023

Question: If applying for multiple services, should we have one cover letter and one set of Attachments B-E, but include separate Program Narratives and Budget Forms for each service? Or do you prefer complete sets of the application (including cover letters and Attachments) for each individual service being applied for?

Response: If you are bidding for multiple programs, please submit one completed application set for each program and then combine all the applications together.

Question 3

Posted: 9/21/2023

Question: Good Afternoon, I am verifying there is not a "form" type questionnaire? I know in the past I've had to request a word document so I am just verifying that we create our own with the questions embedded in the information packet. Thank you, Anne Clark, SHP

Response: There is not a form for Items within section 4.2 of the RFP. Respondents can submit their own formatted answers to the program narrative questions.
