Description: BID NOTICE The Union County Highway Department is now accepting sealed bids for the following items  All sizes of stone  Highway striping  Corrugated Metal Pipe- 15" to 84" structural construction plate both round and arched in accordance with the Tennessee Highway Department specifications  Grading C, Grading E, Grading BM, Grading CW, Modified and Grading 411D Hot Mix Asphalt. In consideration of the contractor furnishing stone for the mix picked up at the plant, all mix must be with accordance to the Tennessee Highway Department specifications  The purchase of approximately 20,000 gallons of gasoline and approximately 30,000 gallons of diesel fuel.  Guard rail-new and used, installed and/or materials only  Hourly Rental for a 320 Caterpillar track hoe or comparable machine-as needed Contract will be for a period of one year, beginning January 4, 2016 through January 2, 2017. All sealed bids should be submitted to Union County Finance Office, 300 Main Street, Maynardville, TN 37807 ATTN: Bid 25 -HWY 2016 by 4:00 p.m. January 4, 2015. Please note on the outside of your sealed bid, the product for which you are submitting a bid. The Bids will be opened at regularly scheduled Road Commission Meeting, January 5, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at the Union County Highway Department, 707 Highway 61 E, Maynardville, TN 37807.
