Description: Notice is hereby given that competitive sealed bids will be accepted by the City of Raton, New Mexico for the Kearny School – El Raton Media Works Remodel for ITB # COR-250105.

The project consists of Phase I of this project, to include all Civil, Site, Structural Remediation, Historical Rehabilitation at the exterior of the existing building, and Architectural, Mechanical, Plumbing and Electrical as indicated on the drawings. Base Bid includes all work identified in the construction documents with the exclusion of specific Additive Alternates.

Sealed bids will be received until Thursday, February 6, 2025 at 2:00 PM and must be delivered to:

All interested parties are invited to attend the bid opening. Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud immediately after the specified closing time in the City Hall Commission Chambers located at 224 Savage Avenue. Bids received after this date and time will be returned unopened. Bid security in the amount of 5% of the amount bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The City of Raton reserves the right to waive technicalities, accept or reject any or all bids as deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Raton.

A mandatory Pre-bid conference will be held on Wednesday, January 15th at 11:00 a.m. at the Kearny School located at 800 South Third Street, Raton, NM 87740. All prime contractors intending to submit on this project must attend this meeting.

This project is partially funded with federal funds from the United States Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration (EDA) and the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Community Project Funding and is subject to the Federal Laws and Regulations associated with these programs.
