Description: The Town of Greeneville will be accepting sealed request for proposals for a new fire rescue engine/pumper. Vendors should include in their proposal all applicable information regarding their product, training, and services offered. Proposals should be detailed to allow the fire department the ability to assess the benefits of the equipment over other proposals. Minimum specifications and performance expectations may be obtained from the Greeneville Fire Department and may also be viewed online at www.greenevilletn.gov by clicking on the ‘Bid Portal’ tab. The sealed proposals will be opened and read publicly in the boardroom of Town Hall on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at 9:00 AM. It is the sole responsibility of the vendor to deliver personally or mail the proposal, to the Town of Greeneville, 200 N. College Street, Greeneville, TN 37745 on or before the closing hour and date shown above for receipt of proposals. Envelopes should be clearly marked: “Sealed Proposal for New Fire Engine”. The Town of Greeneville retains the right to reject any and/or all proposals and to accept the best proposal in the interest of the Town.
