There will be TWO MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETINGS: 1st will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, May 07, 2019 at the Project Site; 104 Ribaut Road, Beaufort, South Carolina 29902. Attendees are to meet in the first floor conference room of the adjacent Administration Building at 100 Ribaut Road, Beaufort, South Carolina 29902. Visitor parking is available in the parking lot north of the Administration Building (entered from Marsh Road, off of Boundary Street). 2nd A SECOND MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at the same location as the first meeting.

Question: Pre-Bid Meeting Agenda (Section VI., Item A., 1.,) states "Site work includes spoil improvement (earthquake drains), grading, storm water improvements, utility work, concrete sidewalks and landscaping." However, the plans and specs do not reference nor mention any Landscaping. Will a landscape plan be issued prior to the bid date? Is there any landscape scope? Should we use an Allowance? Please advise.

Question: Specification section 09 65 19 - Resilient Tile Flooring (not to be confused with specification section 09 65 20 – VCT) lists “solid vinyl flooring, luxury vinyl tile, and accessories …”. However, the Finish Schedule only lists carpet, VCT, ceramic tile and sealed concrete, and does not include any solid vinyl flooring or luxury vinyl tile. Is there any solid vinyl flooring or luxury vinyl tile on this project?

Question: The Instructions to Bidders mentions an Emergency Generator for the project. The plans show the location of the generator, however there is no further information. Could you please provide a manufacturer, model #, size, fuel type and fuel storage quantity requirements so that we may price the generator?

Question: Pages 2 and 3 of the Bid Proposal Form asks the GC's to list their subcontractors and their prices. This can be quite a task to accurately and efficiently complete this document in the final moments of a hard bid project, as many equipment suppliers hold on to their prices to the last minute, causing our subcontractors to send in their pricing at the final minutes. Can the GC's be given 48 hours from the bid due time to submit this document/list to Vender Registry?

Question: Specification Section 08 71 00 - Door Hardware (Part 1, Section 1.3, Note C.) references a paragraph "HARDWARE SETS" in the specifications. This paragraph is not included in the door hardware specification, nor are any hardware sets listed on the door schedule. Can you advise on how you would like the door hardware priced? Will the architect be issuing a list of the hardware sets?

Question: Most of the restrooms (with the exception of Room 111) call for Ceramic Tile on floor and Ceramic Tile base on the finish schedule. However, the interior elevations show Vinyl Base in some of the same restrooms. Can you please clarify what gets Ceramic Tile base and what gets Vinyl Base?

Question: The Plumbing drawings show the water coolers as P-4 & P-4A, but the schedule has only P-4A Bi-Level. Are P-4 and P-4A the same fixture types? There also is a P-6A Shower on the plumbing drawings, but there is no P-6A on the fixture schedule. What type of fixtures are we to use on Shower P-6A?
