Description:

The proposed project involves the replacement/repair of 52 storm pipes in different locations within the city limits of Griffin, Georgia. The pipes slated for replacement range in size from 12 inches to 48 inches in diameter, and most are proposed for replacement with reinforced concrete pipe of the same size. In one location two 36-inch pipes will be replaced with two 60-inch pipes. The proposed repairs include the spin-cast lining of two 42-inch corrugated metal pipes. Most pipes in the project cross under city streets, and replacement will require traffic control, street demolition, and complete repair of the road surface as detailed in the plans and specifications.
