Description:
This project is located on the Duda portion of the Lake Apopka North Shore (LANS) property, which consists of four discernable quadrants that are surrounded and divided by levees and canals. The main objectives of this project include raising the internal levees, constructing new roads, and constructing water management features near the external levees and internal levee intersection such as ditch bottom inlets, sumps, culverts, slide gates, and elevated walkways for maintenance access.
The intersection of the internal levee is located at approximate GPS coordinates of latitude 28.69581, longitude -81.66698. The east and west portions of the property are within Orange County and Lake County, respectively.
The estimated construction budget for this project is $2,389,000, therefore a bid bond/guaranty is required
Pre-Bid Meeting Date: 9/15/2020 1:00 PM
Pre-Bid Meeting Details: A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for September 15, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. by teleconference at 888-585-9008, room number 850427670#. The purpose of the pre-bid conference is to clarify requirements of this solicitation. Respondents have an opportunity to visit the site in person the morning of the pre-bid conference from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM (all Respondents must exit through the gate no later than 12:00 PM). The gate to access the project is located near 24600 County Road 448A, Mount Dora, FL directly east of the McDonald Canal Boat Ramp parking lot.
