Sealed bids for the 2019 Bond Projects – Phase 2 (MR 637B) Project in the City of Quincy, Adams County, Illinois, described herein will be received at the office of the City Clerk, 730 Maine Street, City Hall, Quincy, Illinois 62301 until 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, February 10^th, 2021 and at that time publicly opened and read aloud in the City Hall Council Chamber.

 The City of Quincy’s MR 637B Project consists of street reconstruction, water main replacement, sewer improvements, and other related items at 5 locations:

             -  Hamann Lane from North 12th to North 18th (Location W1-1)

-  North 22nd Street from Oak Street to Chestnut Street (Location W2-4)

-  Washington Street from South 20th to South 24th / South 23rd from Washington to Ohio (Location W4-2)

-  Adams Street from South 8th to South 10th (Location W7-2)

-  Kentucky Street from South 2nd to South 3rd (Location W7-4)

All bids shall be accompanied by either a bid bond on the “Proposal Bid” form contained in the proposal, executed by a corporate surety company satisfactory to the city of Quincy, or a bank cashier’s check, an irrevocable letter of credit or a properly certified check for not less than 5 percent of the amount bid, or for the amount listed in the specifications.

The City Council of Quincy reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities.

No bid may be withdrawn after the time for opening of the bids is past.
