Description: This bid seeks responses from furniture dealers with knowledge and experience in K-12 school and office furniture to include delivery and installation of the manufacturer items specified by the Torrance Unified School District.  Dealers must be manufacturer certified and are required to provide a letter of good financial standing by the specified manufacturers in their bid submittal before the bid deadline. SEE FINAL LIST OF APPROVED MANUFACTURERS.


Pre-Bid Meeting Date: 3/21/2019 9:00 AM

Pre-Bid Meeting Details: The District will conduct a ONE TIME ONLY MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE to be held at Torrance Unified School District, Purchasing Department, 2336 Plaza Del Amo, Torrance, CA 90501, on 3/21/2019, 9:00 A.M. sharp. Failure to attend will render the Bid Proposal of such bidder to be non-responsive. The Purchasing Department is a long gray building located north of the address provided. Plan sufficient time, since parking is within walking distance.

There are no changes and serves only as a reminder:  Bids will NOT be accepted and/or returned unopened if the package is not sealed, and/or not properly identified, and/or received received after the deadline of 9:00 A.M. April 9, 2019.Bids will be rejected if the approved MS Excel spreadsheet is not included on a functional USB/flash drive with bid documents AND does not follow the instructions provided in addenda.

Checklist:

One (1) identical soft copy (PDF) on a functional USB/flash drive

One (1) separate approved MS Excel file submittal on the same USB/flash drive, and must be in the approved MS Excel format that was provided with Addendum #2

Bids will be opened publicly in the Purchasing Conference room and displayed as bids are compiled electronically. The compilation will be uploaded in Vendor Registry. Notice of Intent to award contract(s) will be submitted separately after completing review of all bid requirements.
