Description: Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals for the yearly printing our activity guides will be received by the Fox Valley Park District, until the hour of 2 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 27, 2017, at the Fox Valley Park District Cole Center, 101 W. Illinois Ave., Aurora, Illinois. Bids should be submitted per instructions and specifications and on the appropriate bid form. Proposal specifications and instructions may be accessed from https://vrapp.vendorregistry.com. Proposals shall be submitted in a sealed envelope with the RFP name and Attn: D Leahy clearly labeled in the upper left hand corner. Proposals to be received no later than 9:00 a.m. October 20, 2017: Fox Valley Park District Attn: D Leahy 101 W. Overview: QUESTION: Page marked "General bid Spec" the quantity is 80,000. On the"bid prposal page" it stated 78,000. Also on the "bid proposal page" if you add up all the quantities in the "other cost per issue" that only adds up to the 78,000. Please have the customer confirm - if it is to be the 80M they will need to give a new breakdown for the "other cost per issue"sections so it adds up to 80M. ANSWER: The correct amount should be 78,000 on all listings.

Overview: QUESTION: I’m trying to work up a bid proposal on the Fox Valley Parks Activity Guide and I’m hoping that you could possibly clear something up for me? I see that Approx. 72,000 pieces are going directly to Door-to-Door Direct in Woodbridge, IL. Can you tell me if they are actually handling the mail prep themselves or do we need to presort prior to arrival? I just don’t want to figure mail prep twice. I do have a call into them but am still awaiting an answer? Please let me know as soon as possible…. ANSWER: 72,000 pieces to Door-to-Door Direct do not need to be sorted in any fashion. We deliver approximately 1,000 to the Post Office in Aurora that are pre-labeled/sorted based on a file we will provide you.
