Description: City of Etowah will receive sealed bids for the Renovation of the New City of Etowah City Hall. The project is located at 1231 Hwy 30, Etowah, TN, 37331. The project will consist of the total renovation of interior; rehab of roof with new metal roof installed; exterior residing of vinyl siding; installation of new windows; upgrades to front façade porch area; installation of ADA ramp and sidewalks; Blacktop parking area(s) and striping; new HVAC system; electrical; plumbing, etc. Site visit will be held on August 15th at 10:00 am.. Point of Destination can be viewed by appointment by emailing etowahcm@cityofetowahtn.com. Said bids will be received at Etowah City Hall, 723 Ohio Ave, Etowah, TN 37331, until 2:00 PM EDT on Thursday, August 24, 2017 to the attention of: Mrs. Tina Tuggle. Bids will be opened publicly and read aloud immediately after specified closing time. Late bids will not be accepted nor returned. All interested parties are invited to attend. Bidding Documents (including the Contract Documents, Instructions to Bidders and other Bidding Instruments) will be available at Etowah City Hall. All Bidders must be licensed contractors in the State of Tennessee as required by the Contractors Licensing Act of 1976 and related amendments thereto, with all bid submittals conforming to the State of Tennessee requirements. Payment Bond (if using subcontractors) and Performance Bond will be required. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities or technicalities therein.
