Pre-Bid Meeting Details: Mandatory Pre-Proposal meeting - Only those proposers who attend the pre-proposal meeting at 9:00a.m, on October 3rd, 2022, shall be eligible for submission of a proposal. The pre-proposal meeting will be held at North Whitfield Middle, 350 Trailblazer Ln., Dalton, GA. 30721. Mandatory Tour of Facilities – It shall be the sole responsibility of the proposer to visit each facility to acquaint itself with the nature and extent of work involved. Site visits will start immediately after the Pre-Proposal meeting on the October 3rd, 2022, and will leave from 350 Trailblazer Ln., Dalton, GA. 30721. Transportation to all sites will be up to the proposer. District will have representatives to conduct tours and answer questions. Tours are mandatory for proposers.

Response: The current vendor services all zones in the entire District as it was previously advertised. This is the first time our District has chosen to split it into 3 zones.

Response: $1.16 per sq. ft.

Question: Are you planning to award to 1 vendor for each Zone, A, B, C or going to award combined zones to 1 vendor?
Response: Each zone will be evaluated and awarded independently. If a proposer wishes to submit a proposal for each zone then that is permissible.

Question: How many day custodians are in each school or district building within Whitfield County School District in Zone A,B and C listed locations? Will the Whitfield School District continue to provide day custodians or will the contractor be responsible for hiring the day custodians?
Response: Whitfield County Schools only solicits the end product of custodial services. The contractor decides the number of personnel and would have that answer. The contractor shall be responsible for hiring all custodians.

Response: Admin Areas Daily and a set of gang restrooms to be determined by the Principals.
