Question: I can bid on a 2020 Ram 1500 Classic or the new Ram 1500. Do you have a preference. Also, this truck would have to be built and due to the uncertainty of when the plants are going to open. I may not be able to give an accurate delivery date. I will also not be able to provide a VIN # until the order is accepted and a build date assigned. How should I proceed?
Response: For budget reasons, the department has requested a 2019 model for base bid but we understand that this may no longer be available on all lots. Therefore, we also listed an Alternate #1 for a 2020 model. If you do not have a 2019 available please right in "NA" for the base bid fields and complete the Alternate #1 fields. You may also wish to make a notation of this on the exceptions page.

Question: In the RAM 1500 there are two styles available. The Classic Tradesman ST (DS, which is the old style vehicle) and the Tradesman (DT, which is the new style RAM 1500). We do not have access to either is 2019 model year; however, both are available in 2020 model year. Would you like a bid on both styles or which style would you prefer? It would be possible to use your forms and show both as 2020 model year vehicle using the BASED for the Classic Style and ALTERNATE for the new RAM 1500 body style? Two questions above: What would you like to see? How would you like it placed on the form?
