Question: What was the average time of ticket resolution for the 870 tickets last year? Of the 870 tickets requested last year, how many required onsite assistance? What needs are not being fulfilled by current vendor, why are you looking to change? What support is needed for QS1 and Springbrook software? Is Segra hosted voice deployed to all families? What is the total number of end users?
Response: 1. What was the average time of ticket resolution for the 870 tickets last year? Average ticket time varies. A ticket could be resolved in 15 minutes or a ticket could take 4 to 5 hours to resolve. 2. Of the 870 tickets requested last year, how many required onsite assistance? 99% percent of tickets last year required onsite assistance. 3. What needs are not being fulfilled by current vendor? Current vendor meets all of the Counties needs. 4. Why are you looking to change? The contract is set to expire and County needs to do the Solicitation process. 5. What support is needed for QS1 and Springbrook software? For QS1 the current vendor helps with remote logins, printer set ups and passwords. Springbrook is web based. 6.Is Segra hosted voice deployed to all families? No 7. What is the total number of end users? We have total of 171 license and you can reference Appendix A for Inventory list.

Are the two Sheriff departments connected by direct fiber or internet to the County or are they working independently from each other? 3. Can an updated number of County phones and their systems be provided including the county and all municipalities? a. Will the County and all municipalities be placed on the same phone systems? b. Is the Segra or ShoreTel VoIP system listed being used by the County? 4. Do all the County and municipalities buildings require IT support? 5. When all the employees connect remotely through VPN which software is currently being used? 6. Is all software currently updated with the latest versions? a. Darlington County only has only one Sheriff’s Office and it is connected by internet. 3. There are approximately 94 Sega Host VOIP phones which are located in the Courthouse and See Appendix A for the balance of County phones. a. Will the County and all municipalities be placed on the same phone systems? No, municipalities not included they are separate entities. b. Is the Segra or ShoreTel VoIP system listed being used by the County? Yes 4. Do all the County and buildings require IT support? Yes 5. When all the employees connect remotely through VPN which software is currently being used? LogMeIn 6. Is all software currently updated with the latest versions? Yes a. Does your county have a helpdesk established on site? If so, how many technicians can it facilitate to support daily operations. Yes, We use Spiceworks to submit IT tickets from the Administration Office.

" All potential bidders must be Level 4 South Carolina Law Enforcement Division Certified in order to work in the Emergency Operations Center, Sheriff’s Office, and 911 Communications Center. You will have to obtain or already have this certification in order to be awarded the bid. Is it correct to assume that if this is not met you cannot perform work for the county in general?
