Question: Hi there are 6 questions listed below: 1) The Bid documents refer to Special Provisions. Could you please provide those for this project? 2) Is there a specific material and/or related specifications for the type of Crack Seal to be used? 3) Is there a specific method to be used related to the cleaning of the cracks prior to resealing? 4) Is there a guideline/specification as to which cracks need to be resealed (i.e all or a certain depth/WIDTH?) 5) Is the replacement of pavement markings to be done with a single coat of traffic paint, or a different material? 6) Will the contractor be allowed to close off the boat ramp for the duration of the work?
Response: 1. No special provisions 2. No specific material. Crack sealer should meet DOT and FAA specifications 3. No specific method to clean the cracks prior to sealing. Contractor can decide method of cleaning 4. No specific guidelines as to cracks being filled. All cracks regardless of width must be filled prior to sealing 5. Pavement markings may be a single coat of traffic paint 6. The boat landing may be closed if necessary during the project

Question: 1) Will any of the Stop Bars need to be replaced and /or Painted? 2) Would like to confirm the following previous answer to #4) All Cracks regardless of width must be filled prior to sealing.....do you mean.....All Cracks regardless of width must be sealed/filled prior to paving?
Response: 1. There are no stop bars at Buddy and Zoo. 2. Yes all cracks must be seal/filled prior to paving
