Description: The City of Carlsbad desires to upgrade the current sound system at the Walter Gerrells Performing Arts Center. The City requests proposals to design and install a three-hang powered line array system that will provide at least 110db with +3/-3 variant throughout the entire audience seating area. The proposals should include all necessary hardware, fixtures, accessories, system sequencing, processing control and AB switching. 


Proposal should also include all necessary labor costs and any additional work required beyond the scope of work. All proposals must include a listing of any sub-contractor required work as well as a description of the work to be provided and the value of that work. If a sub-contractor is not listed, the City will assume that that contractor is stating that it is fully capable and properly licensed to perform all necessary work.

 Site visits for the purpose of inspection and measurement, may be requested by appointment by contacting the City’s Facility Maintenance Manager, Lupe Ornelas, at 575-361-4023.
