The scope of services includes the development of both a rural and an urban 2055 long range transportation plan and the travel demand model update. Some elements of the planning can be combined or part of a shared effort for each task. The result will be two separate transportation plans, one for rural area (Hampton, Colleton and the rural portions of Jasper and Beaufort Counties outside the MPO boundary) and a separate urban area Metropolitan Transportation Plan for the LATS MPO along with an updated travel demand model for the four county region.
The Plans must be completed no later than February 2027.
