Pre-Bid Meeting Details: A site visit at the Sininger Hall building will be held by appointment on May 19, 2021. Site Visit is required unless Offeror has been part of a Site Visit at Sininger Hall within the past 90 days. Please inform POC via email if you request a Site Visit by May 17, 2021 for scheduling purposes. Sininger Hall is located at 904 National Avenue on the NMHU main campus in Las Vegas, NM 87701.

Question: Can you explain why this RFP has been re-issued? Why was the one issued on 30 March cancelled?
Response: After additional review of State Procurement Statute 13-1-120, it was decided that cost should not be a criterion for evaluation for an A&E competitive sealed qualifications-based proposal.

Question: RFP page 16, item 1 indicates that proposals must be received by the due date and time, and postmarked dates issued by carriers will not be accepted as received by NMHU. However, RFP page 12, item D indicates for the financial statements that "package must be postmarked by 2:00 PM June 01, 2021". Please confirm that the financial statements can be postmarked by the due date and time, and do not need to be physically received by the due date and time.

Question: RFP page 6, item 6, Furniture Plan, indicates the Architect shall produce a furniture plan and provide specifications, however the selection of FF&E will be performed by NMHU. If furniture selection is done by NMHU, what type of furniture specifications are required by the Architect?
Response: The architect will only draw up the furniture plan, and NMHU will be responsible for the furniture specifications and purchases. For clarification this is for page 6, item 7.

Response: The Architect will only serve on the committee that rates the applicants and will not be leading the bidding process.

Question: Are CAD files available for the building? Availability (or not) of existing CAD files will greatly impact the process and extent of need for initial field verifications.
Response: We do not have CAD files for Sininger Hall. We do have hard copy drawings for the building.

Response: NMHU suggests to title tabs based on the evaluation criteria that NMHU will be rating and anything else can be titled as you see fit.
