Description: It is the intent of Escambia County to purchase one (1) Double AutoLend™ Library Kiosk. International Library Services, Inc. has suggested that their firm is the sole manufacturer and distributor for this product.
Notice is hereby given that per Escambia County Purchasing Policy PP-060 Source Selection, this advertisement shall be posted for seven (7) business days. Any manufacturer or distributor of similar products shall respond to this notice within those seven (7) business days with a complete proposal that includes a full product description, warranty information, pricing, and any other details relevant to the product and this procurement.
Questions must be submitted to Purchasing@myescambia.com by the close of business, 5 p.m. Central Time, on Monday, August 1, 2022. The Escambia County Office of Purchasing is the sole point of contact for this project.
Responses are due to Escambia County no later than 9 a.m. Central Time, on Thursday, August 4, 2022, and must be submitted via a single PDF-type file uploaded in Vendor Registry as a response to this advertisement.
The DVD Vending Machine must include and not be limited to the following features:
- Capacity to hold up to 900 materials, depending on material type.
- Delivery of Holds to include Best Sellers, Children's Books, Movies/DVDs, Audio Books, and more.
- Machine must allow for browsing and retrieval of materials contained within the unit by clients of West Florida Public Library (WFPL).
- Machine must allow for searching the WFPL Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) and placing holds as requested.
- Machine must allow for downloading of eBooks and other electronic media.
- Machine must include custom screen graphics and custom vinyl exterior graphics.
- Machine must provide information regarding charges and returns.
- Warranty of one (1) year is required at a minimum.
- Proposal must include complete, detailed pricing for purchase, on-site installation, coordination with Escambia County I.T. department, complete training, freight, and any other details relevant to the product and this procurement.
Please note the following:
- There is no pre-bid or pre-solicitation meeting for this purchase.
- Escambia County purchases are tax exempt. The Tax Exempt ID can be provided to the awarded vendor.
- Quoted prices must be good for a minimum of 90 days as the County will need to time review responses, provide a Recommendation to Award to the Board of County Commissioners, and issue a purchase order.
"Failure to file a protest within the time prescribed in Section 120.57(3), Florida Statutes, or failure to post the bond or other security required by law within the time allowed for filing a bond shall constitute a waiver of proceedings under Chapter 120, Florida Statutes."
