Question: 1. What kind of contract is this ? Is this a catalog discount contract where we can present our whole catalog. Or is this discount off of list price, or both 2. Can each category have its own discount if we are doing discount off of list price 2. How long do you want pricing held ? Do the price list and discounts have to be held for the contract term 4. Are you asking for pricing for the 3 different delivery options 1. Dock Delivery 2. Inside Delivery 3. Deliver and Install

Response: Both, we want the whole catalog that your company provides that includes a discount off of the list price. Each category and manufacturers can have a different discount based off of the list price. The discounts remain firm for the entire term, list prices can change only with documentation from the manufacturer of a price increase. Yes, pricing for all three delivery options is preferred.

Question: Pricing is stated to remain firm for the duration of the contract and the extensions but, in the next paragraph it states that prices can be changed 60 days before renewal. Could you clarify if pricing can be updated?

Response: Pricing can be updated prior to renewal. Discounts off list price must stay firm. Increased pricing during the contract will only be considered if manufacturers provide evidence of a price increase on their end.

Response: There is not a guideline.

Response: There is only one contract for all pricing and discounts and the renewal structure is the same. We prefer all three delivery options be offered.

Question: I am confused There is only 1 contract a catalog discount with a % off list price is that correct ? if not, what kind of contract is this ?

Response: This RFP will be awarded to multiple vendors to establish an approved vendor list for furniture for the district. It is a catalog discount with a % off list price contract.

Question: Are all 3 delivery options preferred or required ? Will every school have a loading dock or do we need to provide a lift gate ?

Response: The options are preferred. Most deliveries will be to the district warehouse that has several loading docks. If an individual piece of furniture is ordered by a school it could be delivered to the school which would require inside delivery but usually it should come to our warehouse. Most schools have loading docks but not all, all of the district delivery trucks have lift gates so it would be recommended to have one if something is being delivered to the a school. If the furniture is for an entire school such as a new school or renovation then the deliveries will be to the school where the furniture would be installed as well.

Question: On Pg 18 How do you want us to submit the questions and pricing information ? Also on pg 18 can you explain B under the pricing section

Response: Pricing information can be submitted however you feel properly shows the pricing, there is not a standard format. Something easy to read such as an excel spreadsheet with all lines , discounts and pricing may be a good format. Item B on page 18 are the types of information that should be included with pricing to help us compare the proposals submitted.

Response: Page 18 item C is if you are submitting a hard copy of the proposal. Item K is to give an idea of how often the manufacturers change prices through out the year if you offer furniture of different manufactures.
