Description: THE CITY OF ETOWAH IS REQUESTING BIDS ON BEHALF OF A DOWNTOWN IMPROVEMENT GRANT RECIPIENT FOR AN EXTERIOR FAÇADE ENHANCEMENT PROJECT
Project: Exterior Façade Renovation

1. Provide All Materials and Labor to Demo, Install Bracing and Reframing Storefront Inset, Remove and Replace Lower Store Front Doors and Windows, Paint, Lighting, and Stucco Repair on upper ½ of building, install historically appropriate board and batten with cornice on lower storefront and paint exterior façade of building located at 804 Tennessee Avenue, Etowah, TN 37331.

2. Provide proof of the following insurances:
a. Commercial General Liability -- $1,000,000
b. Worker’s Compensation – statutory limit
c. Automobile Liability -- $1,000,000

3. All property damage, public and private, caused by contractor or subcontractors is the responsibility of the contractor and must be dealt with quickly and responsibly and always representing the city well.

4. All work is to be done with excellence and quality workmanship.

5. Notification of Delays will be expected from the Contractor on a weekly basis as they arise. (Such as due to weather delays, employee sickness/absence, etc…)

6. BID INFORMATION. SUBMIT ALL OF THE FOLLOWING WITH YOUR BID PACKAGE:

A. PROOF OF REQUIRED INSURANCE

B. COPY OF VALID BUSINESS LICENSE AND FULL CONTACT INFORMATION.

C. TITLE VI COMPLIANCE VERIFICATION

D. DRUG-FREE WORKPLACE AFFIDAVIT

E. IRAN DIVESTMENT ACT COMPLIANCE


BIDS CAN BE SUBMITTED BY EMAIL OR FAX. IF YOU PREFER TO SUBMIT A SEALED BID YOU MAY DO SO BY UTILIZING THE DROP BOX IN THE FRONT OF CITY HALL.

BIDDING WILL BE OPEN FROM WEDNESDAY, JULY 17, 2024 BEGINNING AT 8:00 AM THROUGH 8:00 AM ON THURSDAY, JULY 25, 2024.

BID OPENING TO FOLLOW AT 8:00 AM.
