Description: The District is requesting proposals from qualified firms to update and calibrate the previously developed transient Central Springs Model (CSM) using the MODFLOW source code. Respondent must also be qualified in collecting, and processing data used in development of the model input files, including having the capability to develop automated routines for pre-/post-processing, and to facilitate reviewing of input/output data used in calibration of the model. Respondent must also have the capabilities of converting a groundwater model from MODFLOW-SURFACT to MODFLOW-NWT or MODFLOW-USG and calibrating a regional groundwater model using an automated parameter estimation tool such as PEST. Respondents will be expected to schedule/complete update teleconferences at regular intervals with appropriate attention to resolution of identified issues.
