Description: An existing downtown Columbia structure will be partially renovated to improve exterior facade aspects of the building. This building is located at 711-713 North Main Street in Columbia, Tennessee. The Contractor will be responsible for restoring exterior features as described per the drawings prepared by Nuber Architecture, LLC. Additional scope of work items are as follows: 1. Replace seven (7) existing wood single hung upper single pane window units with new single hung wood window units by Marvin, Pella, or Architect pre-approved equal. Units will match existing design. Interior trim will be part of interior restoration project. 2. Restore entire lower wood single glazed storefront assemblies (interior and exterior). Some wood replacement will be required as part of this restoration. 3. Repaint upper metal cornice work after surface preparation. 4. Install new Kynar finished cornice above lower storefront to cover previously performed structural modifications. 5. Replace two main entrance double door assemblies for future ADA accessible entry into both buildings. 6. Rework portions of existing metal eyebrow window tops to correct water infiltration and ensure proper drainage. 7. Re-point portions of existing multi-withe brick and repaint brick facade. 8. Install thermal film on existing restored lower storefront single pane glazing.

Pre-Bid Meeting Details: IMPORTANT PRE-BID MEETING DATE ANNOUNCEMENT As a part of the 711-713 North Main Street Facade Restoration project, the city of Columbia will be opening their facility to assist General Contractors, sub-contractors, and interested vendors with the observation of existing conditions in advance of the bid. It is not mandatory to attend this meeting, but highly recommended as the Contractor will be responsible for knowing and understanding the existing conditions prior to starting the work. A sign-in sheet will be distributed prior to the meeting and the architect will be discussing the existing conditions as well as field questions. The building will be available from 2:00 pm till 3:30 pm Wednesday, October 25th located at 711-713 North Main Street, Columbia, Tn.
