Hernandez, Chief Procurement Officer, 1400 Highway 180 East, Silver City, New Mexico 88062 until 3:00 p.m., on Thursday February 24, 2022, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud at the Grant County Administration Office at 1400 Highway 180 East, Silver City, New Mexico.

Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference: Will be held at Grant County Administration Office, 1400 Highway 180 East, Silver City, NM on February 2nd at 10:00 a.m., Room: Grant County Planning Office, followed by a site visit.

Project Description:

Termini: Truck Bypass Road from US 180, BOP Station 1+17.50 then east for 9,882.50' (1.872 miles) to the EOP, Station 100+00.00, at NM 90.

Scope of Work: The purpose of the project is to perform full depth reclamation on existing lanes, widen Truck Bypass Road to include bicycle lanes, replace one existing structural plate pipe with a concrete box culvert and extend other drainage structures. The project will also include new turnout culverts, other drainage improvements, earthwork, erosion control, permanent signing and striping, and other miscellaneous construction items.

Copies of the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS in electronic media format may be obtained at the website of the ENGINEER, Souder, Miller & Associates, at www.soudermiller.com at no cost. It is Contractor’s responsibility to periodically check the website for any possible addenda.

A. For the present Project, Bidding Documents in electronic media format are furnished to bidding contractors for the sole purpose of preparing bids, and not for construction. The selected construction Contractor shall not rely on files provided in electronic media format for construction, but rather hard copies of such data provided by the Engineer or Owner upon award of the Contract.
B. When transferring documents in electronic media format, the transferring party makes no representations as to long term compatibility, usability, or readability of documents resulting from the use of software application packages, operating systems, or computer hardware differing from those used by the data’s creator.
