Question: With respect to "d. Inspections of stream and constructed wetland projects completed to meet Chesapeake Bay TMDL goals.", what if any certifications are required by the consultant to do this work for the county?
Response: For inspections of constructed wetlands, the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) Stormwater Inspector certification is required. This is already a requirement for offerors under the RFP, and is not an additional qualification. For inspection of stream projects, no formal certification is required under this contract

Response: For Section 3.b, elaborate on any general anticipated challenges and/or barriers the firm might have ensuring the work is completed (i.e. staffing levels, equipment / supplies, location, etc.) For Section 4.d, elaborate on risks, challenges, or concerns project team staff may encounter performing and completing the types of services/work and how the team would manage these – there can be reference to / overlap with the response provided for 3.b. Focus on how any identified risks and/or challenges would be managed / mitigated in order to successfully complete the work.

Response: Modeling work may include using modeling software or other tools to assess water quality conditions and forecast changes in pollutant loads to impaired streams in response to land use changes and implementation of pollution prevention and best management practices in the watershed. Information from modeling analysis / assessment may be used to identify strategies to reduce loading of pollutants of concern to the County’s MS4, improve water quality, and meet TMDL requirements.
