CITY OF PRATTVILLE BID No. 022-008
Sealed bids for the Stanley Jensen Stadium Lighting Improvements, City of Prattville Bid No. 022-008 will be received by the City of Prattville at City Hall, 101 West Main Street, Prattville, until 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, April 14, 2022, and then at said location publicly opened and read aloud.
A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2022, at 12:00 P.M. at the Parks and Recreation Department, 424 S. Northington Street, Prattville, AL 36067.
Principal items of work include installation of a MUSCO football field lighting system, electrical infrastructure improvements, and related appurtenances.
Plans, contract documents, and specifications may be purchased online via Alabama Graphics Digital Planroom (algraphicsplanroom.com). Plans and specifications may be viewed and examined at the City of Prattville Parks and Recreation Department, 424 S. Northington Street, Prattville, AL 36067, and at the office of Civil Southeast, LLC., 342 US Highway 82 Bypass West, Prattville, Alabama 36067.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities.
Guarantee will be required with each bid for at least 5% of the amount of the bid filed in the form of a certified check or bid bond payable to the City of Prattville. Bid bonds shall include certification that the bonding company is listed in Circular 570 of the U.S. Treasury Department. Each bidder must submit with his bid, security in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions provided in the information for bidders. The successful bidder will be required to submit 100% performance bond and a 100% payment bond.
Each bidder must be licensed as a contractor in the State of Alabama in accordance with provisions of Chapter 8 of Title 34 of the Code of Alabama, 1975, as amended, and must submit with this bid satisfactory evidence of such license.
All bids shall be submitted in the Contract Specifications Book as issued by the engineer. All bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope bearing on the outside the name of the bidder, bidder’s license number, license expiration date, category, address, and name of the project. Envelopes containing bids must be addressed and delivered to the City Clerk’s Office Attn: Paula G. Barlow, 101 West Main Street, Prattville, Alabama 36067, Re: Stanley Jensen Stadium Lighting Improvements, Bid No. 022-008.
