Description: The City of Wilson will receive formal SEALED BIDS for the Freeman Round House Museum Additions and Park Improvements at 10:00 AM, on August 28, 2025, located at Bartlett Engineering & Surveying PC, 1906 Nash St N, Wilson NC 27893 at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. SEALED BIDS for the scope of work shall include all labor, materials, equipment, etc. required to complete the following contract: Building Construction including, but not limited miscellaneous demolition and removals, 2,116 SF building addition, and park improvements to include parking, sidewalks, gazebo, etc. The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined at the following locations: Charter Construction Services Inc., 314 Nash St NE Wilson NC 27893 Duncan-Parnell Inc., 2741 North Wesleyan Blvd., Rocky Mount NC 27804. A PRE-BID CONFERENCE will be held at Freeman Round House Museum at 1202 Nash St SE, Wilson, NC on Tuesday,
August 5, 2025, at 10:00AM. A representative of the owner and project engineer will be present to discuss provisions of the contract as well as any construction-related questions that need to be addressed. All prospective Bidders are expected to attend. This project involves Federal Funds that were allocated and approved for the Community Parks Improvements projects throughout the City of Wilson.
