Description: The Salinas City Elementary School District is seeking competitive proposals for Multifunction Copier Equipment, Software & Services and obtain a districtwide five-year agreement to replace existing copiers with new digital copier equipment, print management software, and the associated service and supplies needed to maintain these systems. Proposing Service Providers must provide direct service and support for all proposed equipment and software. Service Provider must possess a current and valid contract that has been competitively bid, pursuant to California Public Contract Code Section 20118 et al.

Question: Which three items, specifically, are required to be placed into 14 binders to the interview/presentation of proposals on November 15th? (ref. page. 8, number 4 of RFQ/P #2022-23/001)

Response: Section IV, Proposal Content and Format, on pages 6 through 8, outlines the instructions. The binder must include all items, which includes Section IV: 1(a), 1(b), 1(c), 1(c)(i), 1(c)(ii), 1(c)(iii), 1(c)(iv),1(d), 2(f), 3(g).

Response: Yes

Question: Does the District Utilize Active Directory or a similar identity management solution?

Response: We are still building out the features of the Active Directory. At this time, Google can act as our identify management system.

Question: Is it the District’s intent to have a non-appropriations clause in the lease document or does this section only refer to the proposal stage of the response? (ref. page 11, number XVII of RFQ/P #2022-23/001)

Response: A Non-appropriation clause is mandatory for all contracts and its duration.

Response: It is a typo, should be 60-month lease (5 years).
