Description: The purpose of this Request for Bid (RFB) is to establish a contract for our District generators at each building as specified.
Pre-Bid Meeting Details: Prior to bid submission, contractors are not required to visit the facilities at the Wentzville School District. In order to make a complete survey of the systems specified and gather any information not included in this specification that may be necessary for the contractor to submit an accurate and true proposal that fulfills the requirements set forth in this document, the contractor may contact the Maintenance Director to set up a pre-bid site visit. Question: Good morning, do you happen to know the engine manufacturer on the Kohler generator located at Wentzville Middle School? Thanks!
Response: Please see the attached manual for the generator model at Wentzville Middle School. The addendum has been published.

Question: On the bid form, are you looking for the cost of the services in the second paragraph or are they just included in the 6-month or annual costs and we just designate when they will be completed.
Response: We are expecting to have a 6 month inspection performed per the specifications and per manufacture guidelines and we are expecting to have an annual inspection performed per specifications and per manufacture guidelines. There is a space designated for the 6 month inspection costs and there is a space designated for the annual inspection costs. There is also a designated space for costs on all of the analysis listed and for the load testings listed.
