Description: Shingle Roof Repair for Road Prison Maintenance Shop
1. Proper staging of materials. Materials shall arrive onsite in their manufacturers labeling and be kept in a watertight/temperature safe environment prior to installation as per all manufacturers’ recommendations that apply.
2. Existing shingles and underlayment should be removed down to the lumber deck and be properly disposed of (approximately 300 SF).
3. The lumber deck should then be assessed for any adverse moisture damage and removed and replaced if damage is observed. Include a unit price for unforeseen lumber deck damages.

4. Install new like kind and quality metal flashings and edge metal components as required.
5. Approximately 300 SF of synthetic underlayment should then be installed per manufacturer’s recommendations.
6. Approximately 300 SF of Architectural laminate shingles should then be installed per manufacturer’s recommendations. Ensure new shingle application adheres to all required wind load specifications. New shingles should be of the aesthetic choosing of the building owner.

Projects less than $25,000 will not require a bond.

This will be one of several buildings posted for roof repair quotes within the Road Department/Road Prison Complex located at 601 Hwy 297-A in Cantonment, Florida. A pre-solicitation meeting will be held Thursday, April 14, 2022 beginning at 10:00 am. Please see attached documents for additional information regarding this project.
