Description: The Fox Valley Park District is seeking a qualified and responsible networking Vendor for the District’s server/storage replacement project. The District is looking to replace and consolidate all physical servers at our Cole Administration and migrate them to a virtualized environment. We are also looking for a recommendation on how to handle physical servers at 3 other interconnected sites. Currently the Cole Administration building has 9 Windows Servers and 1 Buffalo Terastation. The Vaughan Athletic Center, Eola Community Center, and Prisco Community Center each have one physical server currently acting as backup Domain Controllers and file/print servers. The project scope will include developing a full disaster recovery plan for the new environment, determining how to best handle physical servers at the other networked sites,(either upgrading or moving to virtual servers at the Cole Center), and migration of data from the Terastation to SAN’s attached to virtual servers. Vendors shall submit the proposals with a detailed plan with pricing to implement the plan in a sealed envelope with the solicitation name and Attn: Ron Evans in the upper left hand corner.
