Sealed bids for the CCDD Fencing – Municipal Landfill 4, Trench 7 (Project No. LND004) at 1074 E 1363rd Lane, Quincy, Adams County, Illinois, described herein will be received at the office of the City Clerk, 730 Maine Street, Suite 129, Quincy, Illinois 62301 until 11:00 AM local time, Wednesday, December 13th, 2023 and at that time publicly opened and read aloud in the City Hall Council Chamber.

The project consists of furnishing and installing 1958 ft. of 8 ft. high fencing and one 24 ft. double gate and one 16 ft. double gate at Municipal Landfill 4.

Plans and specifications are available online at www.quincyil.gov/bids and may be examined at the office of the Department of Utilities & Engineering, City Hall, 730 Maine Street, Quincy, Illinois 62301.

All bids shall be accompanied by either a bid bond on the “Proposal Bid” form contained in the proposal, executed by a corporate surety company satisfactory to the city of Quincy, or a bank cashier’s check, an irrevocable letter of credit or a properly certified check for not less than 5 percent of the amount bid, or for the amount listed in the specifications.

The City Council of Quincy reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities.
No bid may be withdrawn after the time for opening of the bids is past.
