Question 2

Question: 1. Will the City clarify what type of asphalt mix is being used for the topping? (i.e. 9.5MM TY 1 or TY 2) 2. In the bid package there is a lump sum amount as well as a pricing sheet per road. Will the City clarify if this is a lump sum bid or priced per task per street? 3. Will the City add a patching task per ton to the pricing sheet for areas that need repaired? 4. Would the City change this bid from lump sum/pricing sheet to a unit cost pay item bid? This would greatly benefit the City and provide lower cost. Providing quantities for each pay item would create a fair comparison for each bid submitted by each contractor.
