Question: 1. Does mapping (loading maps with camera icons and door icons) needed to be included in this bid and if so, how many total maps/ floorplans are to be imported into the system? 2. For door forced and door held alarms/alerts, how many people will need to be configured to receive the e-mail alerts? 3. Do you require us to update the OEM Flash and firmware on each network controller to get the latest version? There are specific cyber security threats with past controller boards, so updating firmware is highly recommended. 4. For integration between video and access control, how do you want the scope of operation to work? What specific actions are required? For example: An associated camera is automatically called up on a monitor screen when a door is forced open or held open. 5. Do you have any spare (or unused in a pending construction project) reader input boards &/or network controllers? We need to license them at the time of the initial license purchase if you intend to use them in the future. 6. How many existing VI Camera servers are you currently running? 7. How many VI Monitor + Client software computers are you running today? 8. Which VI CCTV Server Version are you running on your servers now? 9. How many doors are on your current system? 10. Does this need to integrate with active directory? 11. How many time zones do you have today? 12. How many cardholder groups do you have today? 13. How many reader Groups do you have today? 14. Does each school manage their own video & access control adds or is that only managed by District level staff? 15. If each school needs access to the video & access control client software, how many computers and/or cell phones per school? Total? (Multicast considerations) 16. Are you looking for a maintenance contract for this and if so, how many years? Or are you just making sure the vendors can support the system after install? 17. Is there currently a camera in place to be associated with every access control door? 18. Is there a lockdown procedure needed at each school and if so, how many lockdown buttons are at each building? Total? 19. Are there any other lockdown methods used to initiate a lockdown? Palm buttons? wireless buttons? special cards? Other systems integrations? 20. Does Monitorcast need to integrate with Centegix and if so, how does that work? 21. What feature sets and applications do you use today in Lenel that you need to have in Monitorcast? a. Intrusion Detection integration? b. Card printing & design options? c. Other integrations? 22. How many Monitorcast system users need to be created? 23. How many users need to be trained? 24. How many training sessions are desired? 25. Can you run a hardware report to show the total count of boards & provide to us? 26. How many different types of system users with unique permissions are required? 27. Is badging a part of this RFP? If so, explain its roles & tasks. 28. How many different Facility Codes are used in your active badge inventory?

A: No it does not need to be included. We would like training on it. 2. For door forced and door held alarms/alerts, how many people will need to be configured to receive the e-mail alerts? (Multicast considerations) A: There is one person at each school that access the access control and about 3 people per school that have access to the video. The high school will have about 6 people. 16. Are you looking for a maintenance contract for this and if so, how many years? Or are you just making sure the vendors can support the system after install? A: We want to make sure the vendor can support the system after the install. We do not need a contract 17. Is there currently a camera in place to be associated with every access control door? A: Yes. We will select the camera that gives us the best view of the door. 18. Is there a lockdown procedure needed at each school and if so, how many lockdown buttons are at each building? Total? We do not have lockdown buttons. We would like the software to have a lockdown all doors button. 19. Are there any other lockdown methods used to initiate a lockdown? Palm buttons? wireless buttons? special cards? We do not have any integration with Lenel 22. How many Monitorcast system users need to be created? One Admin? 23. How many users need to be trained? 15 24. How many training sessions are desired? Training for badge managers. Training for Alarms and door lock/unlock schedules. Training for access groups. Training for admins 25. Can you run a hardware report to show the total count of boards & provide to us? Yes 26. How many different types of system users with unique permissions are required? Admins and Badge managers. We want training on how to create different types. 27. Is badging a part of this RFP? If so, explain its roles & tasks. ? 28. How many different Facility Codes are used in your active badge inventory? A:1 25. Yes. We want to use the system to badge in and out of the building. We do not need to use the system to print badges.
