SCOPE OF SERVICES:

Destin-Fort Walton Beach Tourism Development Division, a Department of Okaloosa County has purchased the Northwest Florida Fairgrounds and as part of the approved Phase I, several of the building and structures will need to be removed.

The Project, of which the Work under the Contract will be a part, is generally described as follows:
Demo/Remove Existing Structures (See Exhibit "A")
Consisting Of Demolition, Clearing, Removal and Leveling of Disturbed Areas

Required Work:
• Filing of NESHAPs; Pulling of Permits
• Asbestos Surveys (if required)
• Demolition of Nine Structures Including Foundations and Footers
• Hauling and Proper Disposal of All Debris
• Leveling of Disturbed Area Upon Completion

All bids must include all labor, equipment and disposal fees

TERM

The Agreement will begin once both parties have signed the agreement. A notice to proceed will be issued when the work is ready to begin. The work must be substantially completed with thirty (30) days with a full completion date by two (2) months.

Insurance Requirements are found in Attachment “B” of the Draft Agreement furnished with this
Invitation to Bid (ITB). Respondents should review these requirements prior to submitting a proposal.

Please find the attached document and information below, for the above referenced Addendum 1. This Addendum is hereby made a part of the Contract Documents and Specifications of the above referenced project. All other requirements of the original Contract Documents and Specifications shall remain effective in their respective order.
The purpose of Addendum 1 is to address vendor questions submitted prior to the last day for questions date.

Question #2: Is there any known presence of ACM on the site?
Answer #2: We are not aware of any ACM on site, this should be verified by contractor.

Question #5: What type of foundations do the buildings have?

Answer #6: We are not aware of any PCB’s, this should be verified by contractor.

Answer #8: We are not aware of any lead paint; this should be verified by contractor.
