Description: Sealed proposals are being accepted for a District wide, asphalt improvement project with projects located within, Aurora, Montgomery, and North Aurora, Illinois. Bids shall be received at the Cole Center - Oak Room, 101 West Illinois Avenue., Aurora, IL 60506 until Friday, March 3, 2017, 3:30 p.m. (local time) where all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 3:30 p.m. (local time). Bids must be received in a sealed envelope addressed with the name of the Bidder, Owner, Project name, and date and time of the Bid. There will be no pre-bid meeting. The proposed work covers a variety of asphalt improvements to individual projects throughout the District including; existing trails, basketball courts, and parking areas. Work can consist of edge milling, surface and base course removal, asphalt resurfacing, paint striping, aggregate base repair, and all other appurtenant work required to complete the project in accordance with the plans, specifications and all other applicable standards.
